You must provide support to the Spanish Teacher in classroom organization, assisting in guidance and support to students, preparation of materials and monitoring of activities and; provide support to the unit's pedagogical coordinator in general activities:
Provide support in the classroom, sharing with the Spanish Teacher the conveying of activity instruction to students in order to enhance learning.
Prepare materials for lessons according to the teacher’s guidance.
Keep the classroom clean and organized.
Adapt lessons and activities to Special Education Needs students.
Assist the Spanish Teacher in the distribution and collection of materials, etc.
Participate in the implementation of pedagogical projects at the school.
Support in decorating walls, doors, tables, and bulletin boards around the school.
Ensure safety, constantly staying with the students, in any activity, observing, guiding, and interfering when necessary, to avoid the likelihood of accidents. Keeping this stance comprehensive for all school students.
Support the Spanish Teacher in managing the class in times of absence or temporary unavailability.
Record students' activities through videos and photos and send them to the Spanish Teacher, within the previously established deadline, without harming the classroom’s dynamics.
Attend academic meetings, educational conferences, and development workshops in order to maintain and improve professional competence.
Follow Red House's general guidelines (Language Policy, Teachers' Handbook, Assessment Policy, Codes of Conduct).
Support Teaching Assistants, accompanying the children during break and to the cafeteria during lunchtime, observing the basic concepts of hygiene and food.
Carefully observe the children's attitudes and behaviors in order to identify illness, informing the assistant about the situation.
Report children’s behavior to the Spanish Teacher so that they can report such behavior to their families.
